|Visions of Gandhi is the third studio album by underground hip hop group Jedi Mind Tricks, marking their first release on the Babygrande label. Following the departure of Jus Allah after their previous album, Violent by Design (2000), the group returned to its original lineup with Vinnie Paz, Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind, and DJ Drew Dollars.
On this album, producer Stoupe pushes his dark, cinematic production style even further, blending grand orchestral samples with Latin-tinged beats. Vinnie Paz, known for his gritty and complex lyricism, shifts focus on this project, honing in on his tough persona.
Visions of Gandhi also features a notable roster of guest appearances, including Canibus, Kool G Rap, Percee P, Ras Kass, and Tragedy Khadafi. Additionally, underground artists like Crypt the Warchild, Planetary of OuterSpace, and Non Phixion members Ill Bill, Sabac Red, and Goretex contribute to the album, making it a star-studded affair in the underground hip hop scene.
