“Manifest Destiny” is the first and only release of the Urban Thermo Dynamics, the group formed by Mos Def along his younger brother DCQ and high-school friend Ces. The album was slated for release in 1995, but never saw an official release until 2004 through DCQ’s Illson Media Music Group.
