Ludaversal, the ninth studio album by American rapper Ludacris under Def Jam Recordings, was released on March 31, 2015. Recording sessions spanned from 2011 to 2015, with production handled by a variety of producers including Mike Will Made It, Rico Love, Giorgio Tuinfort, and Da Internz, among others.

The album’s release was initially announced by Ludacris on March 13, 2012, with plans to release it on September 11, 2012, coinciding with his birthday. One of the early songs, “Ocean Skies,” produced by Capsvl, originally featured vocals from Anita Baker, which were later replaced by Monica.

Ahead of Ludaversal’s release, Ludacris announced an EP titled Burning Bridges in October 2014, with Ludaversal following on March 31, 2015. The lead single from the EP, “Good Lovin” featuring Miguel, was released on October 31, 2014. A listening party for Ludaversal was held on March 3, 2015, where tracks like “Ludaversal (Intro),” “Not Long” featuring Usher, and “Come N See Me” featuring Big K.R.I.T. were previewed to the public.
