Ill-Ko consists of rappers Jason, Rob Dollars and Finess as well as producer SG, representing New York, New Jersey and Kansas City, MO. Dropping the tape-only “Heavy Hittas Volume 1″ release in 1998, the group created a certain buzz in the underground scene which shortly after led to the again self-released follow-up 12” single “Illy-I” in 1999. All tracks from both releases are now reissued for the very first time, accompanied by rare and unreleased photographies of the group straight from the negatives.
