“German Wunderkind” Shuko, born Christoph Bauss, is one of the most significant German rap producers. He has been collaborating with major names in the scene worldwide for years. Over the past decade, Christoph Bauss has earned a Diamond Award, 6 Gold Awards, and 7 Platinum Awards for his productions. The single “Traum” by Cro, which he produced, spent 10 weeks in the Top 10 of the German singles charts.
In early 2015, Shuko released his first and only producer album titled “For the Love of It”. This album is his most personal project, which he has been refining for several years. As he describes it, it’s “an album with a clear concept and a distinct musical direction.” Featured on the album are his favorite rappers and singers from the past decade, including Talib Kweli, Leslie Clio, CL Smooth, and 20syl (C2C). The guests on the double A-side single are just a small taste of what’s to come.
“For the Love of It” is Shuko’s baby, his ode to the music he loves and has dedicated his entire life to.
